David Vainauskas

David Vainauskas is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Head of Infrastructure & Theatre Technology at Sydney Opera House since October 2022. With a robust background in data centre management, David held various roles at Telstra from November 2011 to September 2022, including Manager of Data Centre Planning and Senior Capacity Manager, where responsibilities included leading geographically diverse teams and managing data centre capacity planning. Prior experience includes roles at AXA, Challenger Financial Services Group, and Associated Planners Financial Services, where David managed infrastructure services, IT environments, and development teams. David Vainauskas obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New England between 2009 and 2014.
