Mark Danaher

Mark Danaher, CMRP, currently serves as the Central Maintenance & Engineering Manager at Sohar Aluminium since June 2024. Previously, Mark held various management roles at Incitec Pivot Limited from January 2017 to June 2024, including Site Manager and Maintenance & Reliability Manager. Prior experience includes Project Manager at BROCKMAN ENGINEERING PTY LTD for a short tenure in late 2016, and a significant role as Maintenance Consultant and Maintenance Director at Maaden Aluminium Company from May 2012 to February 2016, where responsibilities included implementing reliability excellence and establishing safety and maintenance systems for a major facility. Mark’s earlier career included positions such as Maintenance Manager at Alcoa's Point Henry Aluminium Smelter and General Manager at John Beever (Aust.) Pty Ltd, contributing to engineering design and project management across various industries. Mark's career commenced at Alcoa in 1986, having held several roles including Maintenance Planning Supervisor and Production Supervisor. Mark's foundational education was completed at Numurkah Comprehensive High School.
