Guy Williams

Chief Development Officer at Soho House

Guy Williams has worked in finance and development for some of the biggest names in hospitality and sports. Guy is currently the Chief Development Officer at Soho House, a position they have held since 2013. Prior to that, they were the Chief Commercial Officer at Soho House & Co from January 2013 to December 2015.

Williams began their career in finance at Price Waterhousecoopers, where they worked as an Audit Manager from January 1988 to December 1992. Guy then moved to InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) in 1993, where they worked as an Internal Audit Manager for two years before being promoted to Corporate Accounting and Finance Manager in 1995. Williams left IHG in 1997 to take on the role of Finance Director and Company Secretary at Harlequin FC.

In 1998, Williams was recruited by the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) to be their Group Finance Director. Guy held this position until 2003, when they became Finance Director for the Millennium Stadium PLC. Williams left the WRU in 2006 to join Bill Kenwright Ltd as their Finance Director. Guy remained in this position until December 2015, when they joined Soho House as their Chief Commercial Officer.

Guy Williams has a Bachelor of Science in French and Business Combined Honours from Aston University. Guy also has certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales as a Chartered Accountant.

They work with Pierre Antoine Dourneau - Managing Director, North America, Benedict Nwaeke - Chief Legal Officer, and Amy Cheema - CFO, Americas. Their manager is Nick Jones, Founder & CEO.
