Ashley Gomez

Ashley (Maes) Gomez is a highly experienced Principal Engineer in R&D at SolAero by Rocket Lab, with a career spanning various roles in the field of engineering and research. Previously, Ashley worked as a Postdoctoral Appointee at Sandia National Laboratories, contributing to the DuraMAT consortium aimed at enhancing photovoltaic module durability and coordinating advanced testing procedures. During a tenure as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Colorado School of Mines, Ashley focused on polymer characteristics for anion exchange fuel cell membranes and led research collaborations in Italy.
