Benoit Martin

Benoit Martin is a seasoned professional in the fields of energy efficiency and sustainable construction, currently serving as Managing Director at MBauen since July 2022 and as an independent expert for the Solar Impulse Foundation since April 2020. Co-founding LAB2, the Luxembourg Association of Building Biologists ASBL, in October 2022, Benoit remains actively involved as a member of the management committee at the FCCE. Previous positions include Director at COCERT S.A. from August 2014 to July 2022, where Benoit was responsible for operational management and the development of new services in energy efficiency. Benoit has also worked as an energy engineer with Rodolphe Mertens Architects and has held various roles focused on sustainable construction since starting a professional career in 2007. Benoit holds multiple certifications, including a Master's in the Carbon Balance Method from the Institut de Formation Carbone and a certification as a European Passive House Designer from the Passivhaus Institute in Darmstadt.
