Francis Litty is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in quality and reliability across various semiconductor and technology companies. Currently serving as an Advisory Expert at the Solar Impulse Foundation since June 2019, Francis has previously held significant leadership roles, including Quality Executive at STMicroelectronics and Head of Quality & Reliability at both Ericsson and ST-Ericsson. Additionally, Francis spent over a decade at STMicroelectronics in multiple capacities, including VP of Quality & Reliability for Consumer and Cell Phone Groups. With prior experience as Operations Manager at DuPont Photomasks and in process engineering management at Matra-Harris Semiconductors, Francis has a strong background in the field. Educational credentials include a Master of Science and PhD in Physics from INSA Lyon, completed between 1973 and 1978.
