Silvia Camporesi

Silvia Camporesi is a Professor of Ethics and Sports Integrity at KU Leuven, holding a BOFZAP Research Professorship since October 2024. As an Associate Editor for the Sport Ethics and Philosophy Journal and the Journal of Bioethical Inquiry, Camporesi contributes to the fields of ethics in sports and reproductive ethics, respectively. Currently a member of the Ethics Expert Advisory Group for the World Anti-Doping Agency, Camporesi provides ethical guidance on contentious issues in sports doping. With experience as Deputy Chair of the British Philosophy of Sport Association, Senior Solidarity Fellow at the University of Vienna, and Visiting Professor roles at King’s College London and UPF Barcelona School of Management, Camporesi has a strong background in public health ethics and philosophy. Educationally, Camporesi holds a PhD in Philosophy of Medicine and Bioethics from King's College London, alongside several other advanced degrees in medical ethics and biotechnology from prestigious institutions.
