Christine Aubin Zoino has extensive experience in the legal field. Christine began their career as a Legal Assistant at Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP in 2001. In 2004, they gained further legal experience through internships at the Securities and Exchange Commission and the New York Stock Exchange, Market Surveillance. Zoino then worked as a Law Clerk at Abbey Gardy, LLP before joining Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP as a Structured Finance Associate. At Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP, they represented issuers, underwriters, originators, and insurers in asset-backed and mortgage-backed securitizations.

In 2008, Zoino joined Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP as a Corporate & Securities Associate. In this role, they represented emerging technology and life sciences companies in venture capital and corporate finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law matters. Christine drafted various agreements and assisted in due diligence for licensing transactions and mergers and acquisitions.

Since 2013, Zoino has been with NRG Energy. Christine started as a Senior Counsel - Securities & Finance and then became an Assistant General Counsel & Assistant Corporate Secretary. In this role, they advised on securities law and general corporate law matters and handled SEC reporting. Zoino was later promoted to the position of VP, Deputy General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, where they continue to play a vital role in the company's legal affairs.

Christine Aubin Zoino earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Maryland from 1997 to 2001. Christine then pursued a Juris Doctor degree, graduating cum laude, from New York Law School from 2002 to 2005.
