Julianna Dantzer has a diverse range of work experience. Julianna started their career as a Grounds Maintenance I at Fox Valley Park District in 2015 and later became a Greenhouse Worker at the same organization. Julianna interned at the University of Kentucky Arboretum in 2016 before joining USDA Rural Development as an Intern. In the same year, they also served as an Environmental Sociology Researcher at the University of Kentucky and held various positions, including At-Large Member, Intern, and Director of Development, at the Student Sustainability Council.
In 2017, Julianna worked as an Environmental Toxicology Researcher and continued their involvement with the Environmental & Sustainability Studies Program at the University of Kentucky as an intern. From 2018 to 2019, they were an Environmental Outreach Intern at Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government.
Julianna'smost recent work experience is with Solar United Neighbors, where they started as a Grants Manager in 2019. During their time there, they wrote numerous grant applications and reports, managed $4.5 million in grants annually from 40 funding sources, and successfully raised $2.5 million over budget projections for 2021. In 2022, they were promoted to Senior Grants Manager, and in 2023, they took on the role of Associate Development Director.
Julianna Dantzer completed their Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Kentucky between the years 2015 and 2019. Julianna'sfields of study included Environmental and Sustainability Studies, as well as Natural Resources and Environmental Science.
