Matt Wang

Matt Wang has worked for a number of companies since 2007. Matt began their career at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, where they held the roles of Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Associate. Theirresearch at the Danforth Center focused on the metabolic engineering of resveratrol, flavonoids, isoflavonoids and lipids in plants and microorganisms. In 2012, they joined Conagen as a Senior Scientist and Group Leader. In 2014, they became the Chief Scientific Officer at Arch Innotek. In 2021, they moved to Chobani as Principal Scientist/Senior Manager. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Director of Research & Development at Solar Biotech.

Matt Wang completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University between 2004 and 2007.
