Damola Alayande

Damola Alayande has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2005 as a Customer Support Engineer at VGC Communications Limited (VGCCL), Damola then worked as a Network Support Engineer at Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation from 2007 to 2008. From 2008 to 2011, Damola worked as a Network Engineer & Project Manager at MEED Networks Ltd, where they developed a project planning, execution, and monitoring framework. In 2016, Damola held two concurrent positions at MEED Networks Ltd and MEED Renewables, as Director of Operations & Project Manager and Operations Director respectively. Finally, in 2017 Damola became the Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer of SolarCreed, where they developed a range of product categories and grew the team to five functional areas in three years.

Damola Alayande has a diverse educational background. Damola obtained their SSCE from Wesley College of Science Ibadan between 1997 and 2000. Damola then attended Ladoke Akintola University of Technology from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a B Tech in Electrical Electronic Engineering. Damola has also obtained a number of certifications, including a Scrum Master Accredited Certification from the International Scrum Institute in December 2022, a Balancing Multiple Roles as a Leader certification from LinkedIn in August 2019, an Extreme Productivity (Blinkist) certification from LinkedIn in April 2019, a Building Your Team certification from LinkedIn in February 2019, a Why Mentoring Matters certification from LinkedIn in February 2019, a Creating a High Performance Culture certification from LinkedIn in January 2019, a Strategic Thinking certification from LinkedIn in January 2019, and a Delivering a World-Class Customer Support Experience certification from Intercom in June 2022.
