Martijn Rodenburg has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Martijn started their career as a Public Relations Assistant at Damen Shipyards Group in 2012. Later, they worked as a Junior Engineer at Huisman Equipment B.V., where they focused on making and updating AutoCAD drawings for mechanical engineering, specifically large on- and offshore cranes.

In 2014, Martijn completed an internship at Fujian Huisman Steel Manufacturing Co., Ltd., gaining valuable experience in the industry. Martijn then joined Mammoet as a Graduate, working on their thesis about additional lifting days for single blade installation. Martijn conducted research and designed a new turbine blade installation method and tool.

Martijn continued their journey at Mammoet as a Junior Engineer, where they were responsible for engineering lifting and transport plans, planning equipment and personnel, and communicating with project management and field workers.

After their time at Mammoet, Martijn worked at Iv-Infra, SPIE, and Movares (all through Brunel), taking on roles related to mechanical engineering and construction of infrastructure, such as sluices and bridges. Martijn focused on tasks like calculating steel structures, developing brugaandrijvingen (new construction and renovation), and designing steel (auxiliary) constructions.

Moving forward, Martijn joined Hollandia Infra in 2019 as an Assistent-uitvoerder, playing a central role in finalizing Hollandia projects by ensuring smooth implementation of bridge or sluice placement and installation. Martijn led a team of technicians and subcontractors, combining academic knowledge with practical insight for effective project execution. Additionally, they served as a Trainee in engineering and production at Hollandia Infra, further exploring the technical aspects of steelwork.

Currently, Martijn Rodenburg is a Mechanical Engineer at SolarDuck, where they bring their expertise to contribute to the team's projects and initiatives.

Martijn Rodenburg completed their education in a chronological order. Martijn began their education in 2001 at Willem van Oranje College, where they pursued a VWO - Profiel Natuur en Techniek. Martijn then attended Delft University of Technology from 2007 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at Delft University of Technology from 2013 to 2015, completing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Transport Engineering.
