Daryus Ahmed, EIT

Daryus Ahmed, EIT has a diverse work experience. In 2023, they worked as an Instrumentation and Control Engineer at Solaris MCI. Prior to that, from 2022 to 2023, Daryus served as a Senior Residence Advisor at UBC Student Housing and Hospitality Services, where they acted as a resource for residents and coordinated residence projects. In 2022, they also held an internship position as an Electrical Instrumentation & Controls System Engineering Intern at Solaris MCI. Before that, from 2021 to 2022, Daryus worked as a Resident Advisor at UBC Student Housing and Hospitality Services. Daryus has also worked at The University of British Columbia, where they served as a Supplemental Leader and Research Assistant at the Center for Transportation and Land Use Research. Daryus was also involved in the IUSRA CO-OP program and worked as a Jumpstart Leader/ Orientation Leader. In 2021, Daryus gained experience as a Material Science Intern at UBC Engineering, Faculty of Applied Science, where they worked on the development of NanoTerraTech Graphene. Additionally, in 2021, Daryus had an internship as a Supply Chain Engineering Intern at PepsiCo, where they managed a team and handled operations in a fast-paced environment.

Daryus Ahmed, EIT completed their education in 2023 at The University of British Columbia, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering with Mechatronics Option. Prior to that, they attended Headstart School from 2002 to 2018 and obtained their High School Diploma, with a focus on Engineering.
