Sebastián González Núñez

Sebastián González Núñez has been working in the finance and energy sectors since 2013. Sebastián started their career at Grupo Financiero Inbursa as an Asesor Financiero in 2013. In 2015, they moved to GBM Grupo Bursatil Mexicano as an Associate Financial Advisor. In 2016, they joined Punto Casa de Bolsa as a Retail Trading & Sales, where they were responsible for trading, analysis and management of investment portfolios conformed by national and international stock shares and corporate debt for qualified investors. In 2018, they moved to Grupo México Transportes as an Energy and Agricultural Analyst, where they were responsible for setting the freight rates for the top companies in agricultural and energy sectors, finding market opportunities and capitalizing them through projects, and market analysis. In 2020, they joined Wedge Global as a Business Development, where they developed their master's thesis and analyzed possible funding sources for the company. In 2021, they moved to Sunhero as an Inside Sales Manager and to Grupo DAC: Energía Solar as a Commercial Director, where they were responsible for the development, implementation and management of commercial strategy, as well as coordinating the sales and marketing team and designing solar energy solutions. Sebastián is currently working as a Business Development Manager at SolarMente since 2022.

Sebastián González Núñez obtained their High School Diploma from Universidad Panamericana in 2012, followed by a B.A. in Administration and Finance from the same institution in 2016. In 2019, they completed their EU. M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy System Management from Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, with a focus on Renewable Energies. Additionally, they obtained a CFA Candidate certification from CFA Institute in December 2015 and an Asesor en Estrategias De Inversión certification from Asociación Mexicana de Intermediarios Bursátiles AMIB.
