Pia Küsgens

Pia Küsgens has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Pia is currently serving as the Director of Business Development at SOLARWATT Germany since March 2023. Prior to this, Pia held the position of Senior Business Development Manager at SOLARWATT Germany from February 2020 to March 2023. Pia also worked as a Product Manager Key Accounts at the same company from August 2018 to February 2020.

Before joining SOLARWATT Germany, Pia worked at Litarion GmbH/Electrovaya Inc. as a Key Account Manager from July 2016 to July 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Project Manager from October 2014 to June 2016.

Pia's professional journey began at Evonik in September 2010, where they worked as a Product Developer until May 2014. Pia then worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Fraunhofer IWS from September 2009 to August 2010.

Pia Küsgens started their career at MAHLE as a Ph.D. student from September 2006 to August 2009. Pia also worked as a Graduate Student Intern at MAHLE from January 2006 to August 2006.

Pia Küsgens pursued their education in the field of Chemistry, specifically focusing on Inorganic Chemistry. Pia began their academic journey at The University of Bonn, where they obtained their Vordiplom degree in Chemie from 2000 to 2004. Following this, they enrolled at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology and completed their Master's degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering between 2004 and 2006. Pia furthered their studies at the Technische Universität Dresden, where they obtained their Doctorate (Dr.) degree in Anorganische Chemie from 2006 to 2009.
