Syed Khursheed Abbas

Syed Khursheed Abbas has extensive work experience in various industries, particularly in the field of renewable energy and power products. Syed Khursheed currently serves as the Country Head at SolaX Power Co., where they are leading the company's operations in Pakistan. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Solarution, managing sales and deployment of solar energy solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Before that, Abbas held the position of General Manager for New Business Development for Energy and Power Products at Crown Micro Pakistan, a subsidiary company of SAADITA GROUP. Syed Khursheed also worked as the Business Head for Pakistan and the Middle East at Avia Technologies, where they developed and spearheaded OEM brand AVIA in the electronics and telecom/mobile industry.

Abbas has a strong background in distribution and trading as well. Syed Khursheed served as the General Manager at Mega Gate FZE in the UAE, where they oversaw the distribution of IT, imaging and printing, recording media, and energy products. Syed Khursheed also worked as the General Manager at Mega Business Machines, an exclusive distributor of Canon in Pakistan. Additionally, they served as the Country Sales Manager at Kobian Pte Ltd and held various roles at Sony Pakistan Pvt Limited/Sony Gulf FZE, where they managed sales and handled digital products and consumer electronics.

Throughout their career, Abbas has demonstrated skills in sales management, channel development, business development, and team leadership.

Syed Khursheed Abbas completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Karachi University between the years 1988 and 1990. Syed Khursheed then pursued their MBA in International Business from the Institute of Business Administration from 1995 to 1998. Additionally, they obtained another Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Business from the Institute of Business Administration, although the start and end years for this degree are not provided.
