Wendy Baca-Wickham is an experienced development professional with a diverse background in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Development at Soldiers' Angels, Wendy oversees initiatives that provide support to military families. Previous positions include Director of Development and Marketing at the Animal Defense League of Texas and Director of Development at Lifetime Recovery, where responsibilities included fundraising and strategic planning. Wendy has also held positions with major organizations like the American Red Cross and the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council, focusing on major gifts and partnership management. With a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Public Relations from Eastern Michigan University and an Associate degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder, Wendy brings a well-rounded skill set in both fundraising and marketing.
Soldiers' Angels
Soldiers' Angels is a volunteer-led nonprofit. We have over 20 different teams and programs supporting all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. We send letters, care packages, and comfort items to the deployed, and we support their families here at home. We also provide assistance to the wounded, continuing support for veterans, remembrances and comfort for families of the fallen, and immediate response to unique difficulties. Through special projects, dedicated teams and individuals supporting our troops, we make a visible difference in the lives of our service members and their families.
