Robert (Rocky) Salerno

Robert (Rocky) Salerno has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Robert (Rocky) began their career as a Front Desk Attendant at UC Santa Barbara in 2012 and later became a Resident Assistant at Santa Cruz Residence Hall. In 2013, they ventured into self-employment as a Private Tutor, offering tutoring services in various subjects to high school students. Additionally, Rocky worked as a Valet at Belmond El Encanto.

In 2014, Rocky returned to UC Santa Barbara as a Gaucho FYI Facilitator and Orientation Leader, where they facilitated workshops for new students, provided resources on health and safety topics, and assisted with student orientation. Robert (Rocky) also served as a Head Front Desk Attendant, managing a team of desk attendants and ensuring building security.

In 2015, Rocky joined UC Santa Barbara's Information Center as an Assistant, utilizing their extensive knowledge of the university's resources to assist visitors. Robert (Rocky) also held positions as a Homework Grader for upper division mathematics and a Strategic Account Manager at Raken.

Currently, Rocky is serving as a Software Implementation Specialist and Full Stack Developer at PINS Advantage, where they are involved in software implementation and development.
