Rick Marmolijo

Rick Marmolijo has extensive experience in the footwear design industry. Rick started their career as a Footwear Design Assistant at C1RCA Footwear in 2001, where they assisted the Senior Footwear Designer and worked on creating designs and tech packs. Rick then joined DVS Shoe Co. in 2003 as a Footwear Designer, where they designed shoes and sandals and collaborated with riders and the President on final colorways and merchandising. In 2005, Rick joined Sole Technology as a Senior Footwear Designer for the éS brand, where they were responsible for designing innovative products and working with riders on signature products and colorways. Rick later became a Group Manager, leading the footwear designers for each brand and ensuring designs were followed through from sample to production. Rick then took on the role of Merchandise and Design Manager for Footwear at Etnies, where they were responsible for the design, development, and merchandising of the global line for the Men's, Women's, and Kid's categories. As the Director of Footwear Design for Etnies, Rick continued to oversee the design, development, and merchandising of the global line, presenting new design briefs each season and pushing new trends.
