David Buck

David joined Solebury Trout in 2021 and is based out of the New York office. He brings over fifteen years of experience as a senior sell-side analyst for firms including B. Riley FBR, Northland Capital Markets (acquirer of Summer Street Research) and Buckingham Research Group. David has enjoyed following a range of specialty and biopharmaceutical companies ranging from emerging pre-commercial firms to established, leading players in their therapeutic niches. Key areas where David has focused his investment research and marketed ideas to investors include CNS and neurology, gastroenterology, oncology, ophthalmology, and rare diseases.

David has an MBA in Finance from Hofstra University and a BBA in Marketing Management from Pace University. Although currently not active, David has been a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in New York and has held FINRA licenses including Series 7, Series 63, Series 86 and Series 87.

David enjoys playing tennis and skiing in addition to exercising at the gym. He also is augmenting his English language skills by gaining some conversational skills in French and Spanish.
