Analyst, ESG at Solebury Trout

Mecca is an Analyst on Solebury Trout’s ESG 360 Team. In her role, Mecca advises client leadership on ESG strategies, communications, and peer benchmarking to help companies enhance their current and aspirational ESG programming.

Prior to joining Solebury Trout, Mecca was an Associate at the Pew Charitable Trusts supporting the finance and environment portfolio’s efforts, while also interning at Kiva Capital supporting investor communication. It was during this time that Mecca was recognized as a Green Finance 21 Emerging Leader by GreenBiz.

Prior to Pew and Kiva, Mecca served in the Peace Corps as an Agriculture Business Advisor Volunteer in Panama. She worked with an Indigenous Wounaan community to build an office for the local government and a basketball court for the children. During this time she facilitated 38 technology workshops and trained over 60 community members in business and finance principles to advance local small businesses.

Outside of Solebury, Mecca is a board member of Native Future, a nonprofit that supports Indigenous land rights in Panama. She created and led their first junior board, doubling the organizations’ volunteer headcount. She is also a proud Howard University alumna and Midwesterner.
