Katy Abernathy

Katy Abernathy has over 30 years of work experience in corporate communications and marketing. Katy is currently the Vice President of Corporate Communications at Solenis, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Corporate Communications at Solenis and the Director of Global Marketing and Business Communications. Before joining Solenis, Katy worked as the Global Marketing Communications Manager at Ashland Water Technologies from 2009 to 2014. Katy also held the same role at Hercules Incorporated from 1998 to 2008 and at BetzDearborn from 1996 to 1998. Katy began their career as a Marketing Manager at Betz PaperChem in 1989. Katy has extensive experience in driving marketing and communications strategies in various global organizations.

Katy Abernathy attended Queens University of Charlotte from 1977 to 1981, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology/Business/Chemistry.
