Akash Puranik

Akash Puranik is a Senior Lecturer in Management at Solent University since April 2020, with prior experience as a Post Graduate Researcher at The Open University, focusing on informal unstructured collaborations among community groups. Puranik has also served as an MBA Support Associate and Visiting Lecturer at Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College, where responsibilities included coordinating research initiatives and teaching various business and management modules. Earlier roles include management positions in the hotel industry, including Night Duty Manager at Mercure Brandon Hall Hotel and Rooms Division Management at Wyndham Hotel Group. Puranik holds an MRes from The Open University, a PGCE from the University of Westminster, and an MBA in Hospitality Administration from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
