Jarno Kaakkunen, Ph.D. (He/Him)

Jarno J.J. Kaakkunen is a seasoned professional in project management and research, currently serving as Program Manager at Soletair Power since June 2021, overseeing projects and project managers. Previously held positions include Principal Project Manager, R&D at Valoe Oyj from May 2018 to June 2021, where responsibilities encompassed managing various customer, R&D, and production projects. Kaakkunen's extensive experience in R&D and production development is complemented by roles such as Solutions Engineer at Oplatek Group Oy, Technical Manager at Lappeenranta University of Technology, and positions at VTT and Nokia involving research and development. Kaakkunen holds a Ph.D. in Physics/Optics from the University of Eastern Finland and a Master's Degree in Physics/Optics from Joensuun yliopisto.
