John Wiita, CPA

John Wiita, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. John most recently worked as a Project Accountant at Soli Organic since March 2020. Prior to that, they were a Consultant at Shenandoah Growers, Inc. from July 2019.

From 2016 to 2019, John served as a Controller at Wharton Aldhizer & Weaver, PLC. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as an Accounting Manager at Holtzman Oil Corp.

Before that, John had a long tenure with The Daniel Group, Inc. where they held various roles. John was the Secretary & Treasurer from July 1999 to May 2010, overseeing financial and administrative functions across all divisions. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President from March 1996 to July 1999. In this role, they managed a commercial real estate portfolio and improved tenant retention and customer service. John also held the position of Controller from September 1990 to March 1996, where they oversaw the finances of the commercial construction division. In this role, John streamlined the accounting department and implemented a more accurate job-cost accounting system.

John Wiita, CPA completed their Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Accounting from Virginia Tech, graduating in 1978. John also attended Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Accounting. In 1980, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
