Jim Wilborne

Jim Wilborne, CPA has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Jim started their career as a Senior Accountant at ICCA in 1995, where they handled financial statement packages and managed various accounting functions. Jim later joined ICCA, Division of InterNET Services Corp., as a Senior Accountant, where they continued to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and inventory processes.

In 2000, Jim became the Financial Manager/Controller at Sunbelt Thread & Packaging, Inc., where they played a vital role in creating and implementing policies and procedures, hiring staff, and implementing new integrated software. Jim then moved to ReCommunity, where they served as a Regional Controller, responsible for managing income statements, balance sheets, budgeting processes, and supporting AP and AR functions.

Seeking new opportunities, Jim joined their own company, Jim Wilborne, in 2012, where they were interested in Assistant Corporate Controller or regional Controller positions. Subsequently, they worked at Edison Nation, LLC, where they served as a Controller, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management.

In 2018, Jim joined Matrix Frame USA, LLC as a Controller/HR Manager/General Operations, reporting directly to the President/Owners. In this role, they were responsible for accounting, HR, and developing inventory and operational procedures. Additionally, they developed new internal accounting procedures, policies, and controls.

From 2019 to 2021, Jim served as an Accounting Manager at M. D. Andersen, CPA, PA, where they took on managerial responsibilities and contributed to the smooth functioning of the accounting department.

In 2021, Jim became the Corporate Controller at Dynetek Solutions Inc, overseeing financial operations and reporting. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at SOLID Surface Care, Inc., where they are responsible for financial planning and analysis.

Jim Wilborne, CPA holds a B.S. Degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, which they completed between 1983 and 1988. Prior to that, they pursued an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Pre-Engineering at Wingate College from 1981 to 1983.
