Anton Ignatov

Anton Ignatov is a seasoned mining engineer with extensive experience in mine planning and optimization. Currently serving as a Senior Mine Engineer at Polymetal International plc since April 2014, Anton specializes in optimization, mine planning, and pit designs. Prior to this role, Anton worked as a Mine Planning Engineer at SMD Lefa Gold Mine, focusing on strategic mine planning and reserves reporting. With previous positions at Nordgold and as a Principal Mine Consultant at "OreAll," Anton has contributed to various significant projects across multiple regions, including Guinea, Russia, and Kyrgyzstan. Anton holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Moscow State Mining University.
