Claus Fasseland has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Claus started their career in 2003 as a Vertskapet at UKA and later worked as a Marketing Assistant at Studentersamfundet i Trondhjem. In 2004, they joined NTNU as a Student Assistant and Student Recruiter until 2007. During this time, they also had summer jobs as a Software Developer at Applica Consulting AS.
In 2007, Claus became a Software Engineer at Thales Norway AS, where they worked on a military messaging system project. Claus then transitioned to a consultant role at The Norwegian Defence Logistics Organization (FLO/IKT) for the implementation of Thales messaging system. In 2008, they joined Steria as a Project Manager, where they successfully managed projects for The Norwegian Customs & Excise and The Norwegian Defence, involving the design and modernization of IT platforms.
From 2011 to 2014, Claus worked at Netlight as a Solution Manager/Project Manager. During their time there, they successfully managed various projects. In 2014, they co-founded Solidsquare AS and served as the CEO and Consultant. In this role, they provided consulting services and contributed to the company's development.
More recently, Claus became a Board Member at WeCare Family AS in 2020. Their role involved contributing to the company's strategic decision-making process and providing guidance.
Throughout their career, Claus has demonstrated strong project management skills, technical expertise, and a valuable blend of experience in software development, consulting, and board membership.
Claus Fasseland attended Mandal VGS from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained an Artium degree in Economics & Administration. From 2002 to 2007, Fasseland pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Communications Technology at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU). Additionally, they spent one year, from 2005 to 2006, at Queensland University of Technology, where they earned a Master's degree in Telecommunication. In 2008, Fasseland briefly studied Project Management at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU), although the degree obtained is not specified.
