Leslie Shah is an experienced educator and consultant with a diverse background in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to various age groups and demographics, currently serving as an ESL Teacher at the Washington English Center since April 2024. Leslie has worked as a substitute teacher for the District of Columbia Public Schools, instructing ESL and mainstream students across multiple subjects. Additionally, experience includes consulting and coaching for LLADR.org, aimed at assisting individuals facing systemic discrimination and homelessness through literacy programs. As a facilitator for Soliya, Leslie promotes constructive dialogue among young adults, while previous roles in grant writing and public health analysis underscore a strong foundation in health policy and management.
