Albert Wildeman

VP, Data & Analytics at SoLo Funds

Albert Wildeman has worked in the data and analytics field since 2008. Albert began their career as a Visiting Scholar at The University of British Columbia, where they designed and deployed a parallel implementation of a Computational Fluid Dynamics Fortran code. Albert then moved to The University of Chicago, where they served as a Graduate Student Researcher, Teaching Assistant, and Research Specialist. In 2016, they became a Data Scientist (intern) at Lotic Labs, and then in 2017 they joined FICO® as an Analytic Scientist I and Analytic Scientist II. In 2018, they joined Aspiration.com as a Data Scientist, and in 2019 they became the VP of Data and Analytics and Lead Data Scientist at SoLo Funds.

Albert Wildeman completed a MS in Applied Mathematics at the University of Twente from 2007 to 2009. Albert then attended ArtEZ University of the Arts from 2009 to 2011, studying Jazz performance, bass. From 2013 to 2017, they completed a MS in Computational Neuroscience at the University of Chicago. In addition, Wildeman has obtained certifications from Coursera and Stanford University, including Functional Programming in Scala Capstone, Functional Programming in Scala Specialization, Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark, Functional Program Design in Scala, Parallel programming, Functional Programming Principles in Scala, Using Databases with Python, Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1, Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 2, Bayesian Statistics: From Concept to Data Analysis (with Honors), and Statistical Learning (with distinction).
