Richard Freshwater

Richard Freshwater currently serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at SoLo Funds since April 2024, having previously held the position of Deputy General Counsel - Head of Regulatory Affairs. Prior experience includes Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from August 2020 to April 2024 and Partner at Thompson Hine LLP from March 2011 to August 2020. Richard has been an active member of the board for WODing Warriors and Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio, supporting initiatives for wounded veterans and youth engagement respectively. Richard's earlier roles include Associate at McGlinchey Stafford, Attorney Advisor at the U.S. Department of Labor, and Intern at the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. Richard holds a JD from the University of Dayton School of Law and a BA in English from Mississippi College.
