Faraz Akhtar

Faraz Akhtar's work experience includes serving as a Principal Information Security Engineer at Soloinsight (CloudGate Platform) since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Information Security Engineer at i2c Inc. from September 2020 to February 2022. Faraz also served as an Information Security Officer at The Bank of Punjab from June 2017 to January 2020. Faraz Akhtar completed a Masters thesis at Military College of Signals - NUST from September 2016 to June 2018. Faraz also undertook a Final Year Project at Comsats University of Science & Technology from February 2013 to February 2014.

Faraz Akhtar received their Master's degree in Information Security from the Military College of Signals (National University of Science and Technology) from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained the HEC degree from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology with a focus on Electrical and Telecommunication. Faraz also completed F.Sc at Govt. Islamia College and Matriculation from Lahore Board.

Faraz obtained the Microsoft Certified Security Compliance & Identity Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in December 2022, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in November 2022, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from SGS Polymer Solutions Incorporated in May 2019, Certified in Cyber Security from (ISC)² in November 2022, Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 1: Certified Associate from Fortinet in March 2021, Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 2: Certified Associate from Fortinet in March 2021, and Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council in October 2018.
