David Howard

David Howard has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. David is currently the Chief Executive Officer at VYRD Insurance Company, a position they began in December 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director and Vice Chairman at Solstice Innovations, Inc. starting in October 2018. In 2013, they founded VetCor Services and held the position of Founder. David was also an Advisory Council Member for Careers for Life (CFL) at The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research starting in September 2016. Additionally, they served as the President of Lighthouse Property Insurance Corporation from December 2019 to October 2021. Before that, they held the role of President at CHRONOS Underwriters from January 2016 to September 2018, and at AmRisc, LLC from January 2016 to January 2018. As a Board Member, they contributed to Disabled Veterans Insurance Careers (DVIC) from January 2013 to September 2016. From October 2013 to January 2016, they served as the CEO of SDII Global Corporation. In 2021, they were involved in company formation and development at a TBD organization from October to December.

David Howard attended Central Michigan University from 1980 to 1984 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. David has also obtained certifications as a Florida Property and Casualty Licensed Agent from the Florida Department of Financial Services, and as a Nonresident licensed P&C agent in 13 states from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).
