Andrew Stone, PMP®, CSM, has a wealth of experience in program management and training and certification. Andrew began their career in 2009 as the Department Head at the USS GREEN BAY (LPD 20). In this role, they supervised and evaluated 75 personnel in the operations and management of all Combat Systems and Weapon Systems, overseeing nearly $100 million in equipment. Andrew then moved on to the USS BONHOMME RICHARD (LHD 6) in 2011 as the Training and Development Officer, where they coordinated and scheduled all certification requirements for over 1K personnel.
In 2012, Stone became the Chief Staff Officer at Coastal Riverine Group ONE. In this role, they led and managed a staff of 82 military and civilian personnel in the operations, maintenance, training and administration of 4 departments that consisted of 800 employees. Andrew then moved on to COMLCSRON ONE in 2015 as the Deputy Training and Certification Director, where they were responsible for the training and certification of a rotating workforce of 1K+ personnel.
In 2016, Stone joined the US Navy as the Program Director, supervising and leading a Department of 160 employees dispersed among 6 divisions in the operations, management, and maintenance of a multi-million-dollar Command, Control, Computers, Combat Systems, Communications and Intelligence (C5I) system. Finally, in 2017, Stone began working as a Program Manager at SOLUTE.
Andrew Stone, PMP®, CSM, has an educational background in business administration. Andrew obtained their Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of San Diego - Knauss School of Business between 1998 and 2001. Andrew then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Business Administration from San Diego State University which they completed between 2006 and 2008. In addition to their educational background, Andrew is also a Certified Scrum Master, obtained from the Scrum Alliance in September 2018, and a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
