Michael Symens

Michael Symens is an experienced software professional with a diverse background in application development and engineering. Currently serving as a Consultant at Solution Design Group since January 2019, Michael has also held the role of Senior Software Engineer at Cargill - Feed Management Systems since June 2014, where contributions include leading a major migration from WinForms to WPF/PRISM and developing ASP applications. Prior to this, Michael worked as a .Net Developer at Cargill - Cargill Animal Nutrition, enhancing applications for animal performance optimization, and as a Computer Programmer at Sukup Manufacturing Co., engaging in all phases of the software lifecycle. Initial experiences include IT internships at CUNA Mutual Group and Mudd Advertising. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Wartburg College, earned in 2009.
