Steven Clegg has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Steven began their career at Batleys Ltd in 2004, where they worked as a Group Accountant until 2006. At Optima Legal Services, they served as a Financial Reporting Manager, focusing on post-acquisition business integration and negotiation of outsourced services contract pricing.
In 2010, Steven joined DTP Group as the CFO, where they oversaw all financial aspects of the company's strategy and played a key role in supporting its high-growth within the dynamic industry. Steven also held the position of Finance Director from 2017 onwards, further contributing to the financial management of the organization. During their time at DTP Group, they also served as the Group Head of Finance, leading and developing the finance function.
Additionally, Steven served as a Trustee and Chair of the Risk and Audit Committee at Thackray Medical Museum starting from 2014. Steven also worked as the CFO at Solutionpath Limited starting from 2012.
Steven Clegg attended St. Peters School York from 1989 to 1994, where they completed their primary education. Steven then enrolled at Newcastle University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics from 1994 to 1997. After a gap of several years, Steven pursued further education at BPP, where they completed the ACCA program from 2004 to 2006. Finally, they attended Leeds University Business School from 2012 to 2016, during which they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
