Jason Norred, CISSP, CCSP, HCISPP

Jason Norred, CISSP, CCSP, HCISPP has over 18 years of experience in the IT industry. Jason began their career in 2001 as the Owner of Norred Technical Services. In 2002, they took on the role of IT Manager at The Staff Professionals, Inc. In 2004, they worked as a Systems Administrator for BioNumerik Pharmaceuticals, where they were responsible for upgrading the original infrastructure from NT 4 domain to 2003 Active Directory environment and the email system from a single Exchange 5. In 2006, they became the IT Infrastructure Manager and Systems Engineer at IBC Bank. Jason then joined Avnet Technology Solutions in 2010 as a Solutions Architect. In the same year, they also joined Solutions-II, Inc. as the CISO, Sr. Director of Security, Director of Solutions Architecture, Manager of Solutions Architecture, and Lead Solutions Architect. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of Solution and Security Architects in providing innovative and entrepreneurial solutions for clients located in and around the U.S.

Jason Norred has an extensive education history. Jason obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Excelsior University in 2008 after completing a Computer Science program at The University of Texas at San Antonio from 1996 to 2000. Jason also attended San Antonio College prior to this. In 2021, they obtained a Certificate in Leadership Principles from Harvard Business School Online. Norred has also obtained several certifications, including CompTIA Security+ Certification from CompTIA in 2008, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2018, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² in 2019, and HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) from (ISC)² in 2021. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from IBM Professional Certification and Solutions II, Inc.
