Lita Tirak

Lita Tirak has extensive experience in academia and the arts, currently serving as Manager of Product and previously as Database Manager and Knowledge Curator at Solutions Journalism Network since May 2016. Academic roles included Teaching Fellow at the College of William and Mary, where courses covered themes such as surveillance and the macabre in visual culture, as well as Global Film. Lita has also curated exhibitions, including X-RA*DI*ANCE at Linda Matney Gallery and MERGING SOULS at Muscarelle Museum of Art. Early career experience includes positions at George Eastman House as Research Officer and Research Assistant, as well as teaching art. Lita holds a PhD and an MA in American Studies from William & Mary, and a BA in Art Studio/Photography and Animation from Mercyhurst University.
