Shawn Grobe

Shawn Grobe has extensive experience in business management and strategy, currently serving as the Director of Asset Strategy and Transformation at Solvay since February 2016. In this role, Shawn leads a team that develops and executes long-term capital investment strategies, establishes governance and metrics, and reports to executive leadership. Previous positions at Solvay include Product Manager for Aerospace Adhesives and Structural Materials, where Shawn managed significant product lines and navigated pandemic-related challenges. As Business Director for the Strata-Solvay joint venture, Shawn oversaw key negotiations and represented shareholder interests. Prior to Solvay, Shawn held various leadership roles at Cytec Solvay Group and Honeywell, focusing on product development, market management, and business strategy. Shawn holds an MBA from Purdue University and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the same institution.
