Katy McGirr

Katy McGirr, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in the biotechnology industry. Katy most recently served as the Director of Global Marketing at Solvias since July 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at sengenics from May 2021 to July 2023. Before their time at sengenics, Katy was the Business Development VP at Censo Biotechnologies from February 2020 to May 2021.

From 2014 to 2019, Katy worked at Cytonome, where they held various roles including Sr. Director of Business Development, Director of Sales and Marketing, and Marketing Manager. Before Cytonome, they were a Consumables Product Manager at Seahorse Bioscience from November 2012 to September 2014.

Katy started their career at Bio-Rad Laboratories in 2006, where they held positions such as Global Product Manager in Proteomics and Electrophoresis, as well as Sr. Technical Support Consultant.

Katy McGirr, Ph.D. holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General from UC Santa Barbara. Katy went on to pursue their passion in Infectious Diseases & Immunity and completed their Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley.
