Susanne Hauptkorn

Susanne Hauptkorn has over two decades of work experience in the pharmaceutical and analytical industry. Susanne started their career at Novartis Pharma Schweiz AG as a Laboratory Head from January 1998 to October 1999. Susanne then joined Solvias in October 1999 as the Head of Team, where they managed a team of 21 co-workers and provided analytical services for the life science industry, specifically the pharmaceutical industry. Susanne'sresponsibilities included method development, validation, routine analytics, and ensuring compliance with quality standards such as GMP, GLP, and ISO9001. Susanne also had experience in atomic spectrometry (AAS, ICP-OES, XRF, ICP-MS), pharmacopeial tests, and physical chemistry. Susanne was promoted to Department Head Elemental and Specialty Analytics from March 2017 to November 2018, and then to Head of Operations BU Specialized Expert Analytical Solutions from November 2018 to May 2022. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Operational Support and Elemental Analysis at Solvias.

Susanne Hauptkorn began their education at Ulm University in 1986 and completed their studies in 1997. During this time, they pursued a degree in Chemistry and earned a Doctorate (Promotion) in the same field.

In 2014, Susanne Hauptkorn enrolled at the University of St.Gallen and studied there until 2015. Susanne'sfocus of study was on KMU Management, and they successfully earned a Weiterbildungsdiplom HSG in this field through the university's HSG Diplomprogramm "Intensivstudium KMU".
