Mark Bren

Mark Bren has a diverse and extensive work experience in the mining industry. Mark currently holds the position of Vice President - Operations at Soma Gold Corp., starting in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Sr Mine Engineer at CRG Mining, Inc. from April to October 2022. From April 2020 to April 2022, they served as a Project Manager at Iron Woman Mining Services. Mark also worked at Gold Road Mining Co. where they held the roles of General Manager from June 2019 to April 2020 and Mine/Project Superintendent from December 2018 to June 2019. Mark started their career at US Silver & Gold as an Operations Planning Engineer from July 2011 to December 2012 and later became the Chief Engineer from January 2013 to June 2018. Mark also worked at US Silver Corporation as a Chief Engineer from June 2006 to July 2008 and as a Mine Superintendent from August 2008 to June 2011. Mark's early career started at ASARCO where they held the position of General Supervisor - Engineering from 1994 to 2000.

Mark Bren attended the University of Montana from 1986 to 1987, where they studied Forestry and Business Administration. Later, from 1990 to 1994, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering at Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology.
