Guillermo Castro

Guillermo Castro is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) industry. Currently serving as a Field Applications Engineer at SOMACIS since February 2018, Guillermo possesses extensive technical knowledge and hands-on expertise throughout product realization stages. Previously, as Front End Engineering Manager at Sanmina Inc., Guillermo managed a 30-person department, optimizing workflows for new customer designs and restructuring for enhanced manufacturing throughput. Prior roles included Technical Sales Manager and Front End Engineering Manager at HEI Inc., where Guillermo provided design support across various sectors, and Front End Manager at Everett Charles Technologies, overseeing preproduction and CAD-CAM engineering departments. Guillermo's career also includes a position as a Technical Support Engineer at DDi, contributing to technology development and customer support. In addition, Guillermo offered strategic consulting services as a freelance consultant prior to joining SOMACIS. Education includes completion of studies at Central Arizona College in 2013.
