DeAunne Denmark, MD, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in translational medicine, clinical development, precision medicine, and research consulting. DeAunne currently works as the Senior Director of Translational Medicine & Clinical Development at SomaLogic since June 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Translational Scientist and Clinical Lead for Precision Medicine at Altum Medical, starting in June 2019. In addition, they have served as a Principal Scientific & Research Consultant and Clinical Advisor at Precision Healthcare Ecosystem since 2017. Furthermore, Dr. Denmark has worked as a Senior Research Associate in translational genetics and behavioral neuroscience at Oregon Health & Science University since 2012. DeAunne has also held positions as a Senior Translational Scientist and Clinical Lead for Precision Medicine at Open Medicine Institute from April 2017 to May 2019, and as a Consultant for Precision Medicine at Metabolon, Inc. from October 2014 to May 2018. Additionally, Dr. Denmark has experience as the Lead of Clinical Partnerships at Smart Patients from February 2016 to August 2017. DeAunne has also held academic positions as an Assistant Professor of Neuroscience in the Graduate Program in Collaborative Systems Design at Pacific Northwest College of Art from 2012 to 2015. Lastly, they worked as a Postdoctoral Associate in Precision Medicine at Diagnostic Odyssey from 2012 to 2015.

DeAunne Denmark, MD, PhD, completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees in Economics and Biology, respectively, at the University of Nevada, Reno, from 1996 to 1999. DeAunne then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in Neuroscience and Behavioral Genetics at the OHSU School of Medicine from 2002 to 2011. Furthermore, they obtained additional certifications, including Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) – recertification, Good Clinical Practices (GCP): FDA Focus – recertification, and Human Subjects Research (HSR) – recertification, from the CITI Program in various years, as specified in the additional certifications information.
