Ashley Jones began their work experience in 2017 as a Patient Care Technician at the University of Missouri Health Care. In this role, they provided direct patient care, developed customized strategies for families, and maintained accurate records. From 2019 to 2019, they worked as a Clinical Administrative Intern at Spectrum Health Care-Missouri, where they assisted the director with daily tasks and contributed to projects focused on improving preventative healthcare for diverse women. In 2019, they joined Compass Health Network as an Outreach and Enrollment Specialist/Community Health Worker, where they increased knowledge and enrollment applications for Medicare and Affordable Care Act programs. In 2021, they worked as a Patient Benefits Advisor at Medical City Healthcare, and currently, they are employed as a Patient Health Advocate at Somatus.

Ashley Jones attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Health and Wellness. In May 2019, they obtained a certification in Multicultural from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In July 2017, they received a Nursing Assistant Certification from the University of Missouri Health Care. Additionally, in August 2019, they obtained a certification in CLAIM from Missouri CLAIM.
