Manoj Poonia

Manoj Poonia has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Manoj is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Somatus, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, from 2018 to March 2023, they worked as the SVP for Product & Technology at Somatus.

Before joining Somatus, Manoj worked for Abbott, where they held several roles. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the Senior Manager for Innovation and Commercial Analytics at Abbott Nutrition International. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2015, they worked as the Senior Product Manager for Strategy Initiatives at Abbott Molecular Dx. Manoj also completed the Management Development Program at Abbott from 2011 to 2013.

In 2011, Manoj co-founded the online aggregator platform www.NamasteDoc.com and served as the Co-Founder and Advisor for Product/Marketing until 2015. Manoj was responsible for leading product development and marketing operations for the platform.

Manoj has prior experience working for IBM as a Senior Consultant from 2008 to 2010, where they specialized in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse engagements within the Distributed CRM space. Manoj also worked as a Project Manager at GE Capital from 2005 to 2007 and as a CRM Consultant at Cognizant from 2000 to 2005.

Manoj Poonia completed their education with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (Previously REC) between the years 1996 and 2000. Manoj then pursued further education at INSEAD in the year 2010, obtaining an MBA degree with a focus on Strategy and Entrepreneurship. In the same year, they also attained a Blue Ocean Strategy Certification, specializing in Strategy.
