Safiya Gosselin

Safiya Gosselin has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to the present. Safiya began their career as a Healthcare Informatics Graduate Research Assistant at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where they focused on medical simulation. Safiya then transitioned to Cotiviti as a Healthcare Claims Analyst before becoming a Healthcare Data & Insight Analyst in the Analytics & Reporting team.

In 2018, Safiya joined Zelis as an Operations Business Data Analyst, specializing in Healthcare Economics. At Zelis, they played a key role in providing claims cost management and payments optimization solutions.

Currently, Safiya works at Somatus, where they have held multiple roles. Safiya started as an Operations Analyst in Population Health Operations, working closely with health plans, health systems, nephrology, and primary care groups to provide integrated care for patients with or at risk of developing kidney disease. Safiya then progressed to Manager of Performance Management, overseeing various aspects of performance improvement. Presently, they hold the position of Senior Manager of Operations Analytics & Reporting, where they analyze and reports on operational data to drive informed decision-making.

Throughout their career, Safiya has gained expertise in healthcare analytics, operations management, and performance improvement. Safiya'swork experience reflects a commitment to providing integrated care, optimizing healthcare claims, and contributing to the reshaping of the healthcare industry.

Safiya Gosselin completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Management at Lesley University from 2009 to 2012. Safiya then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Healthcare Informatics from Northeastern University, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. In 2023, Safiya attended the Questrom School of Business at Boston University to pursue their MBA, which they completed in 2025. In addition to their degrees, Safiya also obtained certifications as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) in February 2020 and as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) in January 2020, both from the Scrum Alliance.
