Heather Stankan

Heather Stankan is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in social work and education. Currently serving as a School Social Worker at Somerset Area School District since August 2011, Stankan also contributes as an Adjunct Professor at Allegany College of Maryland since August 2003. Prior work includes roles as an Outpatient Therapist at Alternative Community Resource Program from September 2000 to January 2013 and as a School Social Worker at Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8 from January 2005 to August 2011. Stankan holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Pittsburgh (1998-2000) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from PennWest Clarion (1994-1998).
