Donald Essig has been serving at the Somerset County Sheriff's Office since April 1991, currently holding the position of Corrections Captain. In addition to this role, Donald has taken on leadership responsibilities as the Commander of both the Special Response Team (SRT) and the Correctional Response Team (CRT). Donald's career progression includes titles such as Lieutenant, Sergeant, Corporal, and Officer. In 1998, Donald also contributed to law enforcement education as an instructor at the Somerset County Police Academy.
