Leslie Bounan, CMA, PCT, has extensive experience in patient care and technical support within the medical field. Currently serving as a Patient Care Tech at Somerset Medical Center since March 2012, Leslie's responsibilities include monitoring patient vitals, performing glucose testing and EKGs, and assisting with general patient care and wound management. Prior experience includes processing over 7,000 specimens daily as a Specimen Accessioner at Source One Staffing and completing an externship as a Medical Assistant at Bridgewater Medical Group, where a variety of patient care tasks were performed. Earlier in a different career path, Leslie worked as a Production Support Specialist at CIT Group, focusing on job scheduling and reporting. Leslie holds a Certificate in Medical Assisting from Sanford Brown Institute and a B.S. in Computer Science from New York Institute of Technology.
